Reaching the Summit!
Nothing stops Lexie from achieving her goals! For her career, Lexie is currently a pre-school teaching assistant at Little Miners Montessori. With her award-winning smile and playful energy, Lexie is a favorite with both students and teachers. Montessori programming gives preschoolers the opportunity to learn and grow in a creative, activity-based setting. As a teaching assistant, Lexie encourages and supports the individual students as they choose their learning activities. Lexie is also a great help to the teaching and school staff, maintaining the classroom and prepping materials.
When not working, Lexie is a student at the PCSD Learning Center. This post-high program is all about accessing the community. One of the favorite activities, is Thursday outings, especially at the National Ability Center. Lexie makes reaching the summit look easy on the NAC's climbing wall.
The future is bright for Lexie as she is currently in the process of applying for college programs in Montana and Florida. Whether Lexie winds up in the mountains or on the beach, she will invariably be successful in all her pursuits. We want to thank all of the community partners, Little Miners, the National Ability Center, and PC Education Foundation, that support students like Lexie to reach their personal summit every day!
