College and Career Ready!
This year has been one of exciting opportunities and accomplishments for Michael and Allen! As Post-High Transition students, both young men set their goals to obtain a job in his desired employment field and apply to Utah State Aggies Elevated. With months left of the school year, the goals have been met!
Michael (left) is an avid jiu-jitsu competitor and hopes to own his own gym someday. These interests and strengths helped him land his current dream job at Basin Recreation. Micheal greets guests, assists gym users in accessing the facility, and maintains the fitness equipment. His next opportunity at Basin Rec is to work the front desk.
Allen (right) works in the service department at Walmart. He is the friendly face you see around the store, helping customers locate items, make purchases, and all-around customer service needs.
Both students also recently got accepted to the Utah State University Aggies Elevated program. They will start in the fall, and join other PCHS graduates in Logan. They are both looking forward to this new phase of independence, living on campus, and all the opportunities college has to offer.
