Park City School District Community,

 

Happy New Year!  I hope that your winter break was enjoyable and that you were able to take some time to enjoy all that Park City has to offer during the snow season.  As we prepare for our return to the second half of the school year, we will have several busy, activity-filled weeks ahead.

 

COVID TESTING

 

In order to launch the second half of the school year as safely as possible, the Park City Schools are offering a voluntary “Test To Start” event with Covid tests available from 7:15 - 9:15 AM at either the Eccles Lobby at the Park City High School Campus or at the Blue Room in the Ecker Hill Middle School Aquatic Center from January 3-7, 2022.  Please feel free to bring your children in for a rapid test if you have any question or concern regarding Covid.  

 

In the event that you or your children feel ill, it is important to remain at home as you would with any illness. Your care and concern for one another as a community is exemplary, and we count on your partnership in keeping our school environment as healthy and safe as possible for all students and employees.

 

Please note that updated quarantine guidelines from UDOH are in effect. 

 

State of the District

 

If you’d like to learn more about the “State of the District,” please join us on January 12, 2022 at 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. in the Ecker Middle School Auditorium for an overview of Master Planning  progress to date and Academic System Updates.  The meeting will be streamed live on Zoom as well as being held in person. The architect design build teams have been hard at work and are maintaining their schedule with schematics due at the end of January 2022. 

 

Sundance Returns

 

As Sundance returns to Park City January 20-30, 2022, we will see some minor adjustments to the Park City High School and Treasure Mountain Junior High School schedules on the days that films are shown (other than on Fridays.)  Look for more information from your school site on dismissal time which is typically 10 minutes earlier than our regular schedule.

 

It’s certain to be a wonderful winter at Park City School District, and we look forward to your ongoing partnership and support of our exceptional staff, students, and schools.

Comunidad del Distrito Escolar de Park City, 

 

Feliz Año Nuevo! Espero que hayan disfrutado sus vacaciones de invierno y que hayan podido tomarse un tiempo para disfrutar de todo lo que Park City tiene para ofrecer durante la temporada de nieve. Mientras nos preparamos para nuestro regreso a la segunda mitad del año escolar, tendremos varias semanas ocupadas y llenas de actividades por delante.

 

PRUEBAS DE COVID

 

Para iniciar la segunda mitad del año escolar de la manera más segura posible, las escuelas de Park City están ofreciendo un evento voluntario de "Prueba para comenzar" con las pruebas de Covid disponibles de 7:15 a 9:15 a. M. En el Lobby de Eccles en el campus de la escuela secundaria de Park City o en el salón azul en el centro acuático de la escuela secundaria Ecker Hill del 3 al 7 de enero de 2022. No dude en traer a sus hijos para una prueba rápida si tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud sobre Covid.  

 

En el caso de que usted o sus hijos se sientan enfermos, es importante quedarse en casa como lo haría con cualquier enfermedad. Su cuidado e interés mutuos como comunidad es ejemplar, y contamos con su colaboración para mantener nuestro entorno escolar lo más saludable y seguro posible para todos los estudiantes y empleados.

 

Tenga en cuenta que las pautas de cuarentena actualizadas de UDOH están vigentes. 

 

Estado del Distrito

 

Si desea obtener más información sobre el "Estado del distrito", únase a nosotros el 12 de enero de 2022 de 7:00 a 8:00 p. M. En el auditorio de la escuela secundaria Ecker para obtener una descripción general de la planificación maestra. progreso hasta la fecha y actualizaciones del sistema académico. La reunión se transmitirá en vivo por Zoom y se llevará a cabo en persona. Los equipos de diseño y construcción de arquitectos han estado trabajando arduamente y están manteniendo su cronograma con esquemas que deben entregarse a fines de enero de 2022. 

 

Vuelve Sundance

 

Sundance Cuando Sundance regrese a Park City del 20 al 30 de enero de 2022, veremos algunos ajustes menores en Park City Horarios de High School y Treasure Mountain Junior High los días en que se proyectan las películas (excepto los viernes). Busque más información en su escuela sobre la hora de salida, que suele ser 10 minutos antes de nuestro horario regular.
