The Park City School District is delighted to announce that Parley’s Park Elementary School 3rd grade teacher Jennifer Shane has been selected as PCSD’s nomination for the Utah Teacher of the Year 2024.

Jennifer Shane has consistently exhibited exemplary teaching practices and has made a significant impact on our students, school and community. She consistently goes above and beyond to create a learning environment that fosters curiosity, resilience and academic growth. Jennifer was recently honored by the Park City Education Foundation as this year’s Parley’s Park Elementary School Excellent Educator.

Along with other statewide nominees, Mrs. Shane will be considered for the 2024 Utah Teacher of the Year and will be honored by the Utah State Board of Education in September, 2023.
