1st Grade
Welcome to my 1st Grade school page. A little bit about me, I grew up in Park City and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am excited to be back and now teaching in a wonderful town and community. I am enjoying my 12th year at Jeremy Ranch Elementary and look forward to a fabulous year. I hope you find this page useful. Here you will find some different information and important dates to be aware of. Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns, or happy stories.
1st Grade Happenings
1st graders are allowed to be dropped off in the Hawk’s nest. Students need to walk around the building to the playground and wait for the bell to ring.
1st graders will be going to Specialist classes (PE,Music,Library,Healthy Lifestyles) Monday-Thursday. Please make sure to check the specialist calendar each day and remember PE SHOES.

Each student is able to earn marbles in the class reward jar is they exhibit one of the Success Plan rules.
I will support each student in learning to become independent thinkers and independent learners. I want to help guide each student to become a self starter through the excitement of learning. Each student needs to have listening ears so they are ready to learn, a quiet voice so that others can pay attention and stay in their own space so they do not hurt others. All of these expectations and rules help our classroom to grow and help each student learn each day.
